whenever i check in on your work, I am never disappointed.
The flags need work. Right now they just look like some communist themed desktop wallpapers taken from google images and put inside the game as a flag. This will not do. Come on, be original, this is not the soviet union this is a completely independent communist republic, create your own flags that use more colours than just red and yellow.
Here you can see some flags of communist countries. You can take inspiration from them to create the new flag for the Vaegirs

They are basically Russia in this setting, that is why they are using Russian flags and such.
That doesn't mean that they have to be a crappy carbon copy of russia with the only difference being the name. I mean their flags are DESKTOP WALLPAPERS found on google for gods sake. It makes the mod look cheap, like a 13 year old who found out how to modify banners with paint by copy pasting a poster from google on every banner. They did a wonderful job on the new orange swazi reich flags that were also just a bunch of nazi desktop wallpapers originally. Also I remember requesting them to make the khergits into the imperial japanese because the khergits were based on communist china who didn't exist yet nor did they have any relevance and I was downvoted to hell for requesting it and the developers replied something like this - "This mod is not trying to be a complete copy of the times we are trying to depict, this mod will have its own storyline and original countries." Well where is that originality now? I mean if you want them to look like a complete copy of the soviets at least use normal soviet flags instead of posters if making your own flag is so darn hard. And if you say that you have no time for this stuff, I can gladly do this flag thing for you you just need to ask.
I actually think the flag looks great, nice and simple and faithful to it's inspiration. Not everything has to go your way buddy and you certainly can't just go around "requesting" (more like demanding) the mod authors to do what you want. It's their mod, so let them do their work and stop being arrogant and acting like a child. You don't like the flag? Deal with it.

Honestly, I made it like that (yes I made it, not copy-pasted) because I liked keeping it simple.
I'd much rather play as the Soviet union, and the vagaers are like Soviets in every way. They even use mosin nagants
