The Red Alert, developed by the mod team of C&C Labs (makes of The Forgotten and C&C All Stars, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. Rings in RA1 Tesla Coil aren't supported either(in-game and videos). And as the summary says, its not about model realism.
dude in the videos the tesla coil rings are supported
meh, persons right, it doesnt match RA, and i think it makes it look weird. maybe if the X wasnt quite as wide, then itd be fine.
as for the coils, i understand that officially they werent supported, but that doesnt mean it doesnt look weird. if there are occasional bolts of electricity between the rings ingame, then i suppose it could look like there is some force holding them up.

i think the base looks great. it may not be true to the game, but it makes it look a bit intimidating, and that was the whole point of the soviets anyway.
I think the X should be removed to help match the flame tower. I also think the rings should be wider
i highly doubt as its electrifying the enemy peopel are gunna be likel "no wait we cant use this cuz the X looks stupid or doesnt match the exact old one"
