It's been a good four and a half months (135 days to be exact) since the last update. Which could very well have been the last update....
The announcement on the pokemod's future is coming soon.
While we don't have a webpage yet, we have setup a temporary forum.
Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the Mod DB community today (totally free) and do things you never thought possible.
u guys should think of something better to make a mod off instead of pokemon which is boring
I have a bad feeling about this. This great game will never be released if the team stopped developing. It's presently inactive!
Lol. This looks like it could be quite fun.
Download the demo here:

If you want to host a server, you have to replace the old pokemod.dll file (~1MB) with the newest one (~2.2MB).
i cant find any where to get this mod only a demo thing where can i get it
I believe the Fileplanet version has the new package with the unsupported warning label and the new server .dll file. And all requests for joining the Pokemod go to me so private message me (joining the forums and sending me a PM will get you a faster reply than private messaging me through ModDB) and I'll tell you where to send me your portfolio. And I'm saying this now as a reminder for the distant future.
Thats good news... I think... When i get my Source SDK to work and made a few more maps maybe i can help you with that part... MAYBE...
Well, we could really use anything, the only thing that is really stopping us from getting "up and running", is because one member has gone MIA, who is needed, and Balefriend is finishing his thesis.
Enix and I are fine with the model's and texture's for now, (with there going to be later release's with much more pokemon, we'll probably need more modeler's and texturer's. We could always use animators and mappers!
what does this mod need to get yp and running again? coders? mappers? modellers?
Uh, we did release an "alpha" for HL1 (what we called the Battle Demo) back in late 2003. Infact I believe one of our team members repackaged the demo with the updated server dll and made it available last year (on a side note there's other versions still floating about that use my original installer which contains the old bugged server dll making the demo all but unplayable, unfortunately I think this includes the copy uploaded to fileplanet).
I'm not quite sure how you could have been following since the HL1 days and missed it. There was quite a lot of info on our webpage and chatter on our forums surrounding the release and we'd confirmed the switch to HL2 by mid-late 2004.
