Good evening everyone!

This news is not directly related to BFME modding, but it is related to our T3A:Online server, the best way to play BFME online!

Starting today, I'll be hosting a daily game of standard BFME1 (patch 1.05) in the T3A:Online lobby.

I'll be hosting at 22:00 Paris time (click here to see what time that is for you) every day (unless something gets in the way, in which case I'll post about it on Revora).

Come join me!

NOTE: Please make sure you have refreshed your NAT before joining or hosting a game (unless you have followed THORONGIL's instructions regarding port forwarding and options.ini changes, which can be found here:

In case you haven't set up T3A:Online already (shame on you!), read all about restoring BFME multiplayer right here on our website:

I hope to see you online. Remember, if my game is full, just start one of your own!

We are currently starting up work again, slowly. I am working on finding voice actors and improving gameplay and design.

Any chance that we will get an update a fully functioning Athens faction before the end of the summer?

It's awesome! Thank you really ^^ BTW i was thinking to some details. It's great how you managed to create something of un-related with 300 (i don't "dislike" too much the movies/comic, but they're something apart). But risking spite from some other fans, i would put in question the same presence of Leonidas as hero... it could not make more sense to put as main hero Archidamus II or some other kings or general of Sparta? Another pair of details: i've noticed how you've created a basic ensign with the "A" for Athenians, i can't recall if the Golden Age of Athenes had a specific sign/ensign apart the Athena's owl...

We've debated Leonidas' presence extensively in the past, but reached the conclusion that in this individual case, coolness precedes accuracy. It'd be easy enough to just change his name to Pleistarchus or Pleistoanax (or to one of Pleistarchus' uncles, more fittingly), but we prefer keeping this pop-culture touch stone for people who aren't history buffs ;)

Yeah, i understand, in this way it could attract more people. BTW I've noticed however in one of the older news that there are flags with the little owl

Let's just say the mod is in a coma. I would love to continue it, but I am in the military now, and I barely find enough time to work on projects that are more... current.

If people with valid skills would be willing to assist in continuing the mod (since in its current state it is very close to an Athens beta), that may re-stir interest in the project from the team members.

You must realize that we are all now much older then when we started, and we have a lot more to deal with.

I could offer me as beta-tester. Sadly i'm not skilled with codes and direct development. I've been the beta-tester for another mod of ROTWK (Battle for Alagaesia)

I hope some people will try to help. I'd do it myself If I knew how, It would really be a shame if this project died for good.

Thank you for your service in the military, where ever you are. I think this mod is awesome and has great potential, if you ever choose to start it back up.

Graphically this mod is really impressive, great models and skins.
The map Corinth also looks very good. Good object placement, nice map props, good texturing.
The background music is also very nice.
