Orb of Dilaaria v1.03
Jul 10, 2006 Full Version 1 commentBased on the Wolfenstein 3-D engine, but you will find that it has been greatly expanded to create a game that is in a class by itself while retaining...
The Land of the Seven Kingdoms was once the peaceful creation of Eilior, the Great Being, but when the dark lord Wersin disbanded the Nonacyclus and descended upon the world, the peace of the world was shattered. Eilior gave man the gift of the Orb. The Orb is the strength of mankind's protection against Wersin and enchants the weapons of the Army of the Seven Kingdoms.
The dark clouds of war covered the land and when the great battle had ended, Wersin was the new possessor of the Orb.
The Orb of Dilaaria is a Wolfenstein 3D/Spear of Destiny based TC that will bring a new look to the classic game. All graphics, sounds, and music will be changed and a few tricks and surprises will be tossed in to keep you on your toes...

All that is left is testing. There are a few glithes that need to be taken care of, but everything else has been completed. I'd say that there is about another three to four weeks of heavy testing before Orb will be made available.

Well, Haasboy's bug has been fixed, or rather it disappeared. There aren't too many bugs that I know about. if you find 'em, let me know.
I've been working on the graphics and maps some... progress is a bit slower though.
This is going to be great! The world needs more fantasy-style Wolfy mods, so keep up the good work Adam... I hope you actually get time to work on it around the copious amounts of WDC bugfixing, heh.
So far every screenshot looks great (esp. the menu, how the hell you got an image in there I don't know), and I am awaiting this mod with a good deal of anticipation
Thanks!
The title screen is a scan of a picture I took of the Biserica Neagra (the black church) while in Brasov, Romania. A very similar picture can be found at: Roplace.ro
There was a lot of color loss when I converted the image to the Wolf palette, but I think it turned out alright.
Ooo cool title screen
Thanks! Hopefully it turns out well! It's been awhile since I could really sit down and work on it though, but development will pick up again very soon. I will probably release an internal beta in a month or less, hopefully.
Glad you liked the website. It took me awhile to get it all looking how I wanted and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Looks great. And I love your website. Loads fast and that menu is pretty nifty.
I totally agree, Majik! Keep it up, keep it up mate!
Sounds cool...I'm looking forward to this one! :)
Thanks :)
Wish I could spend more time on WinWolf3D, but this TC is stepping into the top priority... oh well, at least when I go back to it I'll have a better understanding of the wolf3d engine to work with.
