Sorry every thing has been rather quiet. Holidays just started, exams ended etc etc.
Here is the new Republic Centurion class destroyer. After the end of the Jedi Civil War, and the deaths of Malak, Traya, Nihilus and Sion, the republic re-captured many of these vessels, and added them to their own, steadily growing navy. They wont be very powerful when compared to modern warships, and will primarily be a light to mid warship for the Republic. Its greatest asset is a heavy proton torpeedo launcher, which fires between 6-8 shots per volly. this ship should always be esscorted by smaller craft, corvettes, gunboats even fighters. It carries a total of 4 A-wing sqauds and 2 Republic bomber squads.
P.S im thinking a more Republic like colour scheme, with red Designs on the hull whats the publics opinion?
I completely agree with the red/orange paintjob. its typical for this era of Republic :) And, Centurions were always in the Republic Navy, Nihilus had just Ravager which he brought from Malachor V, but that isnt important.
yeah i know, but Malak and Revan used most of them during the mandolorian wars, as thier fleets heavy hitters. Needless to say they served the same purpose in their sith navy, untill the sith empire colapsed and the vessels were recaptured.
Sure :) But dont forget to include Hammerheads. They were used even during Darth Bane's era, nearly three thousand years after Great Galactic War.
yeah im in the process of codding Warb Null's Hammerhead in right now. im having a bit of trouble, but it shouldn't take too long.
I would use the venanator scheme
all i recomend id just tweaking the model a bit (just a bit to give it the changing era experiance) Red/orange skins would be perfect.
I love the idea of the Centurion being used by the Republic. I can't recall if they were in the TOR game, but the concept is good.
