Dear Sir, Ma'am

This is an official invitation to The New World. We have heard of your actions in the Wasteland, and we want to over you the change to Walk into the New World and start exploring a complete new World.

The New World is one of the biggest known operations of the New World Order. After they had developed the De-Radiator Technology, they started testing just south of Baltimore. After a major break-through they decided to stay on location and use the present test facility for the first project. Creating a new clean city, where civilization could start over.

After the first part of the New Capital was completed in the year 2259, many civilians have moved in to the city. The city has been growing ever since. Now populated by about 15000 people. It is at no doubt the largest occupied city in the world. Small company's start to rise, and in 2264 the first furniture factory has opened its doors, offering work to about 1000 people. After that 3 more factory's have there doors.

The area around Jeff Heldens Plaza has become the Heart of the city. Many Shops have opened there doors here. Here you can also find some restaurants and bars to spend the late hours.

Interested? Just take one of our trains to Jeff Heldens Station. At the station, we've put up an information office. Here you can find all the details and subscribe yourself as our newest citizen.

Hope to see you soon,

Sir Edward James, Registration Office.

The New World - A small introduction,

When you come to The New World, you'll find a city living in pease and prosparety. The city is running well. Some shops have opened up, and even a few factory have started production. You can do all kinds of small quests, and that way find out that there is something not right.

After going through the city for a while, you'll be asked to help in the area's around the city, where de-radiation is going on. When you come into the Barden Lands, you'll find a land that is far worse than the Wasteland. Large area's filled with high levels of radiation are scatered around the land, and your job is to help the de-radiation teams. But why are all your team-mates wearing those big guns. What's going on out there.

You'll find out that hundreds of civilians, even woman and children aren't spared. Those who survived the killings have hidden themselfs in caves and old buildings, scatered around the Barden Lands.

Now it's up to the you, keep working for the NWO, and bring the horrors of the Barden Lands upon the Wasteland aswell, or join the rebel army in the harbors of Baltimore, and fight alongside them agains the NWO, so the rebels can take over the city, to finish what the NWO started, without the mass slaughter. Fact is that the NWO has much bigger capabileties if it comes to restoring pease, and keeping order.

Why did the New World Order kill all those civilians outside the city? Why those tight security in the whole city? Fact is that the NWO has much bigger capabilities if it comes to restoring peace, and keeping order.

Hope to bring more news soon

New Alpha Announced

News 6 comments

New Alpha About To Be Released.

It has taken some time, but where about to release The New World Alpha 0.0.1.4. This Alpha is the first that is released by the team, instead of just me. Everything is build from scratch except for the great wall. We plan to release it next weekend.

These are the new things we've build:

  1. A new station (ext.): There is a completely new station withing the New Capital, still called Jeff Heldens Station. It is more open like a normal station would be, and it will contain some small shops in the lower part, aiming at the street in front. The first time the player will come out of the train at the end of the track in a locked of area. Here the player can take some drinks from the Clear-Tech Soda Machine, or enter the Passport Registration Hall.
  2. A new station (Int.): The new station comes with a new interior as well. The first time the player enters the interior of Jeff Heldens Station, he'll find himself in the Passport Registration Office. In here he can get his passport, and continue on into the de-radiation room. In this room, all your radioactive items will be removed, and stored in a Underground Bunker. When you go back to the Wasteland, all those items are returned to the player.
Within the Passport Registration Office there will also be an NPC that will give you details on the newest edits.
  3. Jeff Heldens Plaza (ext.): This is the plaza in front of the station. At the moment it is just the exterior.
  4. Baltimore Harbor (ext.): This is the first piece of the harbor of Baltimore, the old city in the North East of the Barren Lands. This is accessable by talking to the changelog NPC.

I am one of the mod developers, and all I can say, is.. This mod IS nearly dead. I am the only active member on the forums of the mod anymore, and the last active post from Morsul was November 7th, 2009. I sent him a message long ago, and I have yet to receive a response to it.

I wouldn't call it dead just yet, i mean, fallout 1 had a huge space requirement in its time cause of the sheer size of its world, and fallout 2 with the addition of even more space than what fallout 1 had for its even larger maps, and that was with the fact the player could fast travel on both games, you still can in fallout 3, fallout 3 was said to be the biggest fallout game data wise cause it not only had nearly 20 times the size of every other games' wastelands in one map, but it actually was a fps, and for an fps you need to makee guns appear the way they should, and arms, you need arms, fallout 3 had went overboard with fan service though, players wanted a more interactive wasteland and they got it, im saying, fallout has atendency to be so HUMONGOUS that it takes up a lot of room and takes years to make, fallout 2 was made so quickly cause they started creating it the second they stared sell fallout 1 , fallout 3 was i think the same way but they kept having to remake the alphas and betas, for the sake of this mod, they might have had it finished by now if they started modding DURING the game's production, but because of fallouts large space curse its gonna take YEARS before the mods done, am i right morsul

It appears it is dead, which is sad. No updates since 2009. Any chance of this being revived???

I downloaded and used FOMM to install, but the entrance guard has no voice and his suit textures freak out. the only part of the train that is visible is its roof and its bottom and when it tries to load the town the game crashes. Any ideas?

This problem occurs when you order the DLC's from LIVE. LIVE places the DLC in an other directory. If you move the DLC from that directory to your Data map, you should be able to find them. If that doesn't work, you could also go the Fallout3nexus.com. On there forums you should be able to find a solution.
