Welcome to the Nam troop! ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ก๐ฎ๐บ: ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐บ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ is a real-time strategy game released in 2020 by developer ๐ง๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ป.
A nonprofit game which took nearly 20 years to finish, it puts players in command of American, Vietcong or North Vietnamese soldiers in a deadly array of battlefields.
The game is downloadable for ๐๐ฅ๐๐ and runs on all PCs and laptops. Players who have downloaded the game before 7 October 2020 should redownload and replace rules.ini, sound.ini, ecache86 and expand 61 to update their game to the latest version.
Whichever side you choose, each battle will test your mettle as a Vietnam War commander. Download the game via the steps below:

4) Once the download finishes, copy the folder onto your C: or D: drive. Trying to run it on your desktop screen might not launch the game successfully. Once copied, please open the folder then find and double-click on ๐ฉ๐๐ข.๐๐๐ง or Game.exe.
5) Click ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ and choose your map. Remember to Deploy your HQ by double clicking on it to start building structures and units. The official ๐ฉ๐๐ข ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐บ๐ฒ contains everything players need to understand and master the game and its myriad maps and units.

The battle of Khe Sanh remains one of the fiercest and most debated battles of the Vietnam War. Who won? To this day, no one's sure.
Over 6000 US Marines and hundreds of elite ARVN Rangers defended the giant base at Khe Sanh, which was designed to serve as a staging point for attacks into neighboring Laos. (VCO)
From late 1967 to early 1968, tens of thousands of elite North Vietnamese troops surrounded the massive US Marine base at Khe Sanh, near the DMZ that divides North and South Vietnam.
In many ways, it was a massive open-ended gambit by legendary Vietnamese military mastermind Vo Nguyen Giap. By surrounding the 6000-strong US and ARVN base, he lured American attention away from the over 100 towns and cities which would be attacked in late January 1968 during the Tet Offensive.

How to run it on OpenRA (Shattered Paradise for example)?
Hi there! Currently, the only way we know would be to follow the steps outlined below, which necessitates a 700MB or so download but no installation. Thanks and hope you enjoy the game!

2) If you want to play in full screen, then click ๐ง๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ด.๐ฒ๐ ๐ฒ and set the resolution to 1360 x 768.
3) Double-click on ๐ฉ๐๐ข.๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ or ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ.๐ฒ๐ ๐ฒ. Click ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ and choose your battle. Remember to deploy your HQ by double-clicking it to start building structures and units.
The official ๐ฉ๐๐ข ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐บ๐ฒ contains everything you need to understand and master the game and its hundreds of units. Make sure you read it to learn how to wage war just like the Americans and Vietnamese did 60 years ago. As much as we'd like to make it a mobile game, the controls are just too advanced, so you'll need to play it on your PC or Mac.
