McKool proudly presents the full version of The Mutant Factor, a single player modification for Crysis and Crysis Wars. This is a new single player campaign with a completely different story and a new set of characters. The Mutant Factor is heavily influenced by the Half-Life, Crysis, and F.E.A.R series of games. The player takes the roll of Phoenix, who is sent to investigate strange energy readings at a remote North Korean facility. While on the island, he begins seeing visions of his long lost daughter, Tara, which starts a cascading spiral between reality and possible insanity. After a horrific and bloody battle, he awakens to find himself trapped in an underground facility with only the voice of Dr. Marie Shepherd to guide him out....or is she the only voice? Ask yourself: Do you trust her?

Well I am thrilled to announce that The Mutant Factor will appear in the february issue of the german PC Games magazine! The article is, of course, in german so I provided the following Google Translation:

"Once a hero at the end Nomad a mission awareness has lost, he wakes up in a underground complex. Of course he wants to know immediately what's going on is, but after the first Steps, he notes that here something is really wrong. Nomad is soon drawn into a war, in this laboratory rages: horror mutants fall the scientists produced. The Mutant Factor convinced by a wonderfully creepy atmosphere and many scares. Modder David McHenry creates an oppressive Atmosphere, but also the action not too short. A good mix, which suitable mainly for those who The shudder is also something want."

or...

"Once Held Nomad at the end of a mission has lost consciousness, he wakes up in an underground complex.. Of course he would know immediately what's going on, but after the first few steps down, he represents that there is something utterly wrong. Nomad is soon drawn into a war raging in the laboratory: Grim mutants fall upon the scientists. The Mutant Factor convinced by a wonderfully creepy atmosphere and many shocking moments. Modder David McHenry creates an oppressive atmosphere, but also the action is not too short. A superb combination, which is particularly suitable for those who also want to shudder a little time."

You just gotta love literal translations!!!! They are so entertaining!! Nontheless, I find the fact that they considered TMF worthy of their magazine to be a true honor and I thank them sincerely! I have attached a screenshot from the article:

I'm afraid that I don't think that the PC Games is such a great magazine down here, but it could've been worse :)

My respect, it's definatly cool to get metioned in a foreign magazine! :)

sure, print magazines aren't writing a lot about mods, but your mod is a special one^^, it's making a lot of fun...

btw:pcaction and pc games have mainly the same authors, but pcgames is the serious one and pcaction is writing a lot of......s**t^^, so it's the funny one

That's why don't read the PC Action :D
Once I read those magazines, it where Gamestar (I think they are arrogant, though), PC Games or PC PowerPlay (isn't on the market anymore, I think). Now I read more magazines for my Business, Filming and Stuff :)

I don't wanted to say that this magazine is s**t and this would not be nice, I think it's damn cool. It's a foreign magazine, so this is extra-cool :)
