Welcome to The Mortewood Plaza. Best summed up in three words; Zombies, Weapons and Mayhem! Created By Dec Doyle.

Report article RSS Feed The Mortewood Plaza - Update 05

This mini update includes the new video on a Dev map just for testing purposes.

Posted by Dec1234 on Nov 2nd, 2008

Here is the new video containing some small game play. It shows off the new Creep, which is a modification of the stalkers from half life 2, and my new Tank, which is a big ass zombie that's very powerful!

Also in the video is all 15 of the male zombies skins, the 4 female skins, 3 creep skins, tank, sickle weapon and the new logo for the mod.

I know the updates are coming slow, i will try to get more done of the next few weeks.

Looking good.

The zombies seem a little weak? Or maybe that's just because you have a horde of ammo and weaponry right off the start :D

Anyways, Love the variety in both weapons and zombies, hope to see more new stuff soon :D

Desert eagle to the face and you say they are weak!? you are insane :D

That Deagle is rare to come by in game for ammo, therefore it is very powerful against these zombies :)

Im running on my custom dev-mode that allows the user to see triggers, that is why you can see the button texture. I'm not a n00b, after all i'm making this whole thing myself, i think i can manage the buttons hahahaha :P

I love the veriety in zombies and the custom skins for the stalkers :3. but i have one question, when you picked up all the weapons in the start they had no custom world models. are you going to make custom world models or are they going to be the hl2 defaults? oh and i love the new icon. when you release mortwood can you release the icon as as a .ico file in the downloads section so i dont have to use the crappy steam default icon?

Thanks :)

World models are less important compared to the view models, don't worry i will get them sorted after finished all view models :)

The new icon, all 3 of them that i came up with:
First is the nice new source one!
Second is based on the Counter-Strike square one.
And last is based on the Half-Life 1 logo.

They come in the pack don't worry :)

Thanks!, the kill scoring will only be on a select few maps including rundown and exterminiation so the player can see how well he is doing and how much it will take to win or beat the level :D

Well it was called the tank, WAYYYYY before the one if left 4 dead, originally the left 4 dead one was called hulk, and on release it was changed to the tank, so i have to think up a new name for it now or else people will accuse me of making a bad copy of the left 4 dead one.
