Well, sorry about no updates for the last few days, but i finally perfected my achievement system.
The first image shows what happens when i finally find the Katana, and then cut a zombie in half, a message displays, shows the icon, and then goes away after a number of seconds (3 - 10 changeable).
The second image shows the menu in game for the achievements, i was considering the traditional scrolling forever feel from xbox and orange box, but i decided to follow the continuity that came with my weapons menu, this menu will have all the achievement icons, some locked and unlocked, and when holding your mouse over the desired one, the image and text at the bottom changes to give you the information that you require.
REMEMBER, this is a WIP, only 6 achievements have been implemented but they all work 100%.
NO achievements can be collected if cheats have ever been entered, and these achievements are really HARD to hack and cheat, its taken me a while and anyone who does cheat is just wasting there own time, its a mod, so cheating is just silly.
Anyway, if you managed to read and understand my blabbering i ask you to comment :)
P.S: I am not accepting requests for achievements, there is a section in the FEATURES page of my moddb were you can ask about them.
There is also an unknown number coming, with a max of 1000g altogether.

Haha, you have seen and loved the Katana many times, but now you get an achievement for using it! Its double the awesome!
I admire the work you pull off with just one team member. I myself work on mods by myself but not to this extent of complexity - well done on this and keeping up the work on the mod (which is probably the hardest bit of development, in my view).

Ah, shame its bad quality image compressed, but i tried to make them a little "scuffed" and in a square, kinda like a more detailed version of the half life 2 ones i believe, but thanks.

Only that i have seen so far, ignoring steamworks that is.
Damn that katana indeed looks sexy and deadly, like my ladies! >:)! But if i may clarify a question that popped in to my head.
I don't know if anyone has asked this, but anyway. There's tonnes of weapons in this mod and they all look and sound awesome. But the main question is that can you carry all of the weapons you find? Like going around scavenging for weapons and carry everything you find.
Well its undecided, i may have a maximum weapons you can carry, but in other game modes there will be NO restrictions, and if you collect all then you get an achievement, they will be hidden ALL over the single player story, i just haven't decided if i will have the achievement along with my weapon limit.
