Members - The Lost Battalion mod for Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30

"The Lost Battalion" is a mod for "Brothers In Arms". The mod covers actions by the 551st PIB (Parachute Infantry Battalion) in southern France during "Operation Dragoon" (AKA Operation Anvil) from D-Day, August 15th onwards. The 551st was disbanded on Feburary 15th, 1945, but some were merged into the 82nd Airborne. Because of the deactivation and the loss of combat records, the 551st´s action during the battle of the bulge were "forgotten" up until the year 2000, when President Bill Clinton awarded them with the Presidential Unit Citation - Americas highest honour for a military unit. It was this that gave the battalion the name "the lost battalion". The mod team will, to the best of its abilities, try to re-create the enviroments and characters as authentically and as historically accurate as possible.
