LOTR-TW is a Total Conversion for Alexander TW based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, focused to recreate the epic battles seen in the movies, It has a complete Middle Earth map, from Harad to Forodwaith, and from Grey Heavens to Rhun, Fully customised cities like Minas Tirith on Battle and Campaign map, a few Historical Battles, like the Last Alliance, Battle for Helm's Deep, and Pelennor Fields, and some more about the Fellowship of the Ring.

If you like what you see, please, vote for us! The new patch will add lots of things that you will think it is a different mod comparing it to 2.08c! The whole team has been working really hard on the mod, improving gameplay, graphics, balance and more, to give you a one of a kind Lord of The Rings experience, changing completely vanilla Rome Total War, to this!

whats like the percentage for aragorn getting Anduril and how does get it? Ive gotten it before but really wasnt paying attention. And once he gets the sword he can summon dead army and then what? Never made it that far.
i dont know the percentage, but it aint that hard;
"Each battle won by Aragorn, he has a chance to obtain Anduril sword.
If Aragorn ends his turn in Dunharrow (playing Rohan) or Erech (playing Gondor), carring Anduril, the advisor will appear allowing the player to recruit this special unit led by the King of the Dead.
The Army of the Dead dissapears after his first battle, and there is also a time limit. The King of the Dead gets an special trait that is randomly increased every turn, and the deadmen dissapear when this trait reaches the 3th level (arround 10 turns)."
Does he ever get crowned like king or anything like that?
well if you make him faction heir and the leader dies he will be king, and i think he will win some traits or so, but i cant tell since i never played gondor.

Do you guys thunk i could upload a submod that makes archers damage moderately realistic? I get so ****** when 90 master rangers fire on 222 orc snaga and only 20 drop. Im sure other people hate it too.
well if you compare it to other mods you will think this is heaven... archer units are quite strong already and if you make them stronger you will make them all overpowered, specially elven archers...
but obviously you can make any submod you want!

Sorry but it wont! the beta testing has recently discovered a crash witch will make all campaigns unplayable if certain things happens (AI assaulting an AI city with walls in campaign but no walls in battle map: Moria, Rivendel, Lothlorien, etc)
Seth Krn3ll is fixing that and a bunch of other stuff that we (beta testers) have reported in the last week, so still not estimated time of arrival!
that's alright. Just really pumped to play it.
