It has finally arrived people, the Lord of the Rings: Total War v2 Open Beta is available! The Lord of the Rings: Total War or LotR: TW is a full conversion for the game Rome: Total War Alexander. It contains several factions spread among 4 different races Men, Elves, Orcs and Dwarves which each have a great variety of units and beasts such as the mighty Mumakill, Trolls and Nazgul. The biggest new addition is ofcourse that you will be fighting good or evil on a completely new campaign map (credit for METW) this time, control the Fellowship in their quest to help Frodo and Sam reach Mount Doom and destroy the One Ring once and for all or send forth your legions to make the Dark Lord rise again. You decide the faith of Middle-earth! This is the new installer containing several fixes. Yea right great mode,realy I adore it! but...I cant look at the cityes like Barad-Dur or Minas Morgul! WHEN will it be fixed,to look like they need to look? PLS repare this and your mod will be the greatest in Total War history : )
Will this work with rome total war without alexander because i dont have that expansion =\ and i really like this mod!!!!!
Vista won't let my do the last part. I add the -mod:alexander/lotrtw but it says it doesn't exist even though I installed the mod on the same folder as Rome Total War. Can anyone help?
Death like silence... here is what you need to do when you add the text -mod:alexander/lotrtw you must make sure that you have a space between the text before it like this: "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-ALX.exe" -mod:alexander/lotrtw ( this is what i have ;) )

hey i have rome: total war but do i have to have medieval total war, i had a look at some comments saying that i do need it or i dont need medieval total war, so what is it i would really like to know since i am a bit of a lotr fan and the game looks awesome i gonna download this as soom as i find out!
