This mod for Alexander Total War is set in the Lord of the Rings theme based on the works of Tolkien and Movies of Peter Jackson. It features all new factions, units, menus, music and much more! Custom heroes, movie likeness units. In the 2.0 release there will be a campaign map and quite possibly custom buildings but not custom cities like Minas Tirith YET. And a special for 1.1c is The Battle of the Last Alliance with the Elves, Numenoreans and Sauron's armies! Check out our website and forums for there you can get all the information you want!

Hello all, Alpha testing of the mod has recently begun and because of that happy occasion I'd like to treat you to some screens of new units and heroes. Also there has been some confusion about what you would need to play this mod, pay attention! All you need is Rome: Total War patched to 1.5,

Hello all, Alpha testing of the mod has recently begun and because of that happy occasion I'd like to treat you to some screens of new units and heroes. Also there has been some confusion about what you would need to play this mod, pay attention! All you need is Rome: Total War patched to 1.5, however you will miss out on some extras. If you want those extras buy Alexander: Total War.

So to start with the preview, there are only unit screens for now. I will post some campaign screenshots later.

In the first picture you can see the Orc Rabbles' Goblin Bodyguard, The Orc Rabbles(goblins) have to deal with all kinds of threats facing all the Elves and the Dwarves. In the second pic you see one of the unique heroes you can controll: The Witchking of Angmar.

On the right you get to see Emerald Guards owned by the Silvan Elves, and on the left there are some White Knights of Gondor.

If you weren't so damn sure about it, I'd say that in the second picture you see the Orc Rabbles' Goblin Bodyguard, also. Otherwise the Witchking must be hiding somewhere in the high grass.
