You are Daniel. Your parents are away from town for a couple of days, so you are enjoying your peace and the quietness. You are reading a book, when suddenly a message drops from the books pages. Its from your uncle, and the ink is still wet. He has written it quickly and the first couple of words don't make any sense. Then the letter says: "Go to the library.. FAST!, you don't have much time!" Go to the library and try to find out what is going on. I guess you were going there anyway to put the book back.
Pretty cool stuff in this one. I was quite happy that there weren't a lot of jump scares (they're overused in quite a few custom stories). The horror was a bit lacking though.
There were glitches here and there, but were nothing major.
I was happy that the notes had decent spelling and grammar. However, I was a bit disappointed with the riddle notes - they seemed rather pointless, as solving them didn't really gain the player anything, other than the satisfaction of solving them. It would have been awesome if the player had to solve them to either progress, or acquire non-essential stuff for it (healing, extra plot, etc.). The abrupt ending wasn't really appreciated. I don't mind things being left open in terms of plot, but this?
I would recommend use of riddles for puzzle-solving, etc., as mentioned above, try to maintain a non-linear sense of gameplay for the players, and add a bit more horror (force the player to hide/run a bit more). Just an opinion that you may consider/disregard.
Overall, I'm still looking forward to the next release.

Really well made, well done. I encountered a small bug where the water monster managed to "get on land" and whenever I was level with it anywhere in the map, the music would start playing. But anyways, ******* great map design, lots of spooks, love it.
This story feel deep and scarier and the level design was so cool too...
Im can't rate 9 because of log and stupid naked guy...
But keep it up.. :))

Just your basic custom story to be honest. I didn't really follow the story and in my opinion there were FAR too many "cheap jumpscares" some of which i didn't even noticed they happened so fast (e.g flashing dead guys). You also said that V 1.2 was smoother which in all honesty it wasn't - the last section of the maps were unbelievably laggy which spoilt the custom story
