Volumetric explosions ver 1.0 released news - The Last Stand mod for Sins of a Solar Empire

Hello everyone,

After a week of hard work, here it is at last - version 1.0 of the Volumetric mini-mod for the Sins of a Solar Empire. Buffing up the explosions count from four to a grand total of fourteen, this mini-mod will bring greater variety and certainly greater excitement to your Sins battles.

Designed around the idea that space combat should tell a sort of a story, where you can actually watch your (and enemy) ships struggle under intense fire, lose pieces of the hull, vent atmosphere or jets of fire and then finally blow up in a violent detonation, the Volumetric mod will make Sins battles feel and look much more dynamic.

Since I've spent all of my time actually making the improvements to the mod, this time I only have a lowly tech-demo video to demonstrate what's it all about. Instead, you know, of the orchestrated camera goodness. ;)
