NOTE! Before you explode with joy, and start soiling the topic with telling us about your ejaculations and such, we must add a sobering warning:
The release IS NOT bug free, in fact we already know some, and expect MANY more unexpected bugs, appearance of broken stuff, crashes, etc to start pouring in reports by you, the players. Hence the bug reports will be welcomed on our MBX forum. The next couple of months will then be used for making ready and available patches and additional features to the mod, ones that we simply did not have time to add in now. That will also mean that any game progress you will make will be lost when any patch comes, as it will most likely NOT BE save game compatible. After a patch ALWAYS start a new game or you will report non-existent bugs carried over in the save game.

For people getting the "get_shader failed for: windy_flora" error it is because you need the Enhanced Edition of the game.

Ehm... It didn't work for me, still geting it ):
The biggest bug i found is that you can't leave isengard save for using contr+click cheat...the river is unpassable. Now i am part of an invasion but they can't leave the area of Isengard.
press Tab and select 'leave' ?
Had to change my underwear three times.
Once when I got the link.
Second when it downloaded.
Third when it installed.

hey i was having de windy flore error and i instaled the enchanced edition an the new patch but still the same windy_flora error
Try running the iron launcher as an admin, it fixed it with mine (windows vista, M&B enhanced)

windy_flora error as well. Tried everything.. copy/pasted files.. TLD folder into the Modules folder. Nothing. I'm running the Steam version of M&B. windy_flora with enhanced version also :(
Same here. Patch installed, enhanced edition thing installed, game just stays on loading screen. I hit task manager and get the same windy flora poo-poo. Help! Anyone?

Hey all,
I just thought id give a helping hand to those that purchased the STEAM version of M&B and cant get this mod to work! Heres how you do it:
1) Download and install M&B enhanced from the link to gamefront[DOT]com that was kindly posted above by SNESMASTER40.
2) It should leave a shortcut on the desktop to mount & blade,right-click it and open file location (windows 7).
3) Drop the TLD folder into the Modules folder of the new M&B install.
4) Now you need to get your serial key of the steam version (Open steam,right click Mount & Blade,View game CD key,write it down or copy it)
5) Inside the TLD folder (mod folder) there is a file called "IronLauncher.exe".Run that,input your serial and your good to go!
If ive got this right it should work fine!

WOW, I cannot belive it. ITS REALLY OUT!!!! After the "Pirate & fishmod" development died I tought its kinda pointless to keep myself up to date with the M&B vanilla version modding. I was wrong........
Got the windyflora error too. Cant play this....... Read all the readmes, applied the patch, read the instructions the forums and still nothing......=(

the windyflora is easy to fix you just didn't put it in the right folder see this
2.1 Take all *.brf files and copy them to M&B/CommonRes/ folder. Overwrite when asked.
2.2 Take all *.txt and *.xml files and copy them to M&B/Data/ folder. Overwrite when asked.
2.3 Take all the remaining files and copy them to M&B/ folder. Overwrite when asked.
you can find this files in Data if im right do this again and it will work
worked for me :D
i did that and it didnt work. it just made a new error instead. i cant find any instructions on how to fix it. i copy and pasted the mod into the modules folder. which should work anyway, i keep getting the windy flora error. where do i go from there? i would really appreciate your help

Run the Iron Launcher in the TLD.zip as an admin, that should do it.
