[Mod officially dead] A conversion of The Last Days of the Third Age, bringing the characters, equipment, and world more in line with Peter Jackson's film adaptions, along with some balancing and gameplay tweaks.
Some of the weapons used by Harad. From right to left: Harad pike, Harad spears (2 of them), Harad halberd. All of these weapons are based on film reference, aside from the pike. Still need to tweak the halberd a bit since I'm not 100% happy with the results.
It's worth noting that the "pikes" in vanilla TLD were barely any longer than regular spears, so I've increased their length so they are now significantly more effective as anti-cavalry weapons.
Still have to do the shields, swords and other related weapons, of which there is significantly less film reference. If anyone could provide a link to screen-used Haradrim weapons and shields, I would be very thankful.
Nice job! Have you ever considered teaming up with the TLD Overhaul guys?
Would speed up the project and combining the mods would be nice.
They've said before they are not teaming up due to they have different ideas on how to do their mods

I understand, it would be nice for the teams to join or at least exchange materials, but it is up to your teams. Great mod!
The one one the far left looks more like a Rhunnic polearm though the rest are fantastic.
I thought that as well, but it's in The Two Towers, used by the Haradrim. You can see it in the close-up shot of the Haradrim marching when Frodo and Sam come across them in Ithilien.
Like it very much, I'd love to see more gear.

Now I just wish we had something like pikes for Gondor, kinda like the guards of Osgiliath from TATW.
Pikes for Gondor have been considered (specifically for a Dol Amroth infantry alternative), but I'm out of slots to use for Gondor units. Perhaps a future update will replace Pinnath Gelin's rather lackluster spearmen with pikemen, as right now they are kind of useless if you just have regular Gondor spearmen.
