24 February 1525 was the decisive battle during the wars of 1521-26.
The Battle of Pavia
An Imperial–Spanish army under the nominal command of Charles de Lannoy (and working in conjunction with the garrison of Pavia, commanded by Antonio de Leyva) attacked the French army under the personal command of Francis I of France in the great hunting preserve of Mirabello outside the city walls. In the four-hour battle, the French army was split and defeated in detail. The French suffered massive casualties, including many of the chief nobles of France. Francis himself was captured by Habsburg troops and imprisoned by Charles V and forced to sign the humiliating Treaty of Madrid, surrendering significant territory to his captor. The outcome of the battle cemented Habsburg ascendancy in Italy.

It was a heroic victory, the French always lose in the end it seems lol
What about the American Revolution, Hundred Years War and First World War?
They just barely assisted at the end of that but did help wi that war. Hundred years war was scetchy. And in WW2 they got bulldozed in a few weeks by the Germans without English and American backup.
The French were entirely to blame for the Americans winning the Revolution. They supplied most the gunpowder, British ships had to go 9 rounds with France before even arriving and even sent rifles better then what the English were using also. And everyone involced was bulldozed in WWI. And BEF was trying to find out how to escape France when the First Battle of the Marne rolled around
clearly someone has never read a history book.
Agree, esp on the Revolution
The French won the fist half of the hundred years war (1350) and the second and last half(1453) and the French kicked *** all through the Italian wars. they invaded England in 1547 and sunk the English flag ship! long story short we learn from British point of view...For a period of the Italian wars the French king was king of France, king of Naples and duke of Milan! I mite be 13 but I know may history!
