Half-Life 2 mod | Released Jan 15, 2006
The island is a singleplayer, first person shooter mod. There are no puzzles here, just pure, intense action. And who are your enemies? An army made up solely of zombies, particularly fast zombies, and their headcrabs. Where is this taking place? Any random island; the location is irrelevant.
This mod will be best suited to skilled action-oriented gamers. The mod is eight maps in length and includes many of the Source engine's advanced features and effects.
Work on The Island is complete and the mod is currently available for download. I would just like to apologise for the release date being two months later than originally planned.

ive started the mod, but am stuck in a wall and even noclip is stuck?? what the hell is going on
This is a mod. It does not matter that it is only maps. Ever heard of Minerva? Good job on this, stalker.
This mod is not one of my best. I know that evrything there is wrong - I didn't use displacements, it's very linear etc but nobody is perfect.
If sombody want to see displacements and more non-linear singleplayer mod so just go to my website (http://stalk3r.wz.cz/) because there are first information about my next mod called Combine Commando.

looks like you just made maps...good maps but still just maps basicaly.
Good mod, but you need to work on the interiors, they looked very plain. Also, try to make it more non-linear, sort of like far cry.
I would give it 8.5/10.
Here is what you need to do. FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS!
Sign off and exit STEAM. Right click on the steam icon. Click "find target". Then click the "steamapps" folder. Then click the folder,
"Mods"(if their isn't a folder that says this, make one.) After you click mods, COPY the link that is given for this folder. Now exit out of the pages I just listed.
LISTEN!!!:
Now go and install the program. When it asks which file to put the game in, PASTE the link you copied into the empty box. Then press next. Wait until it's installed. Then sign on to STEAM and you will see the game.
NOTE: Make sure you are logged off steam while completeing these steps!!!!!!!!!!!
I NEED HELP I CANT PLAY IT!!! i saved it and installed it but all i got was a folder with the contents. how do i play?!
