Description

The warriors of the Western Kingdom greatly favour axes over swords for battle at close quarters. This is mainly due to the ready availability of wood, and the scarcity, due to a lack of mining technology, of high-quality iron.

This axe, which is ususally accompanied by a shield, can also be thrown and its broad head has devestating effects however it is employed.

Warriors in the Western Kingdom are also known to prize Ilsamir and Southern-made weapons, but they are not easily afforded. If you wish to win the favour of a man of the Sun Kingdom, gift him an Ilsamir weapon.
