Description

This sword is one of the many thousands produced by the military smiths of the Southern Kingdom, the domain of the Merchant Kings. It is one-handed and has a total length of 38 inches, the typical dimensions of a one-handed sword in the Ilsamir lands.

The shape of the guard and pommel reflect the design of the public buildings of the Southern Kingdom which are typically crowned with domes of copper or brass. The shape achieved, a flat, rectangular base with a shallow semicircle above, represents the flat, stable earth and the dome of the skies.

These swords are carried by all soldiers of the Kingdom and serve as exccellent primary or secondary weapons. They are well forged and strong, though lower quality examples can be lacking in flexibility.
