This is the Ilsamiren Wars, a modification for Rome: Total War the Barbarian Invasion and the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It is an entirely original concept. THE STORY The world of the Western Continent is generally peaceful, but for the occasional raid on the Ilsamiri by their neighbours of the Northern Kingdom and the Seaborne. Its about time I updated you on what's happening with the mod. I've now all but completed the map and we've got a team member working away on the UI so I can release some more shots of it soon. In the mean-time I've been researching the expansion for Medieval II and deciding which features I can use and the main one is the multiple campaigns, so expect to see around ten campaigns in the final version :) .
Aside from this I've been working on the cultural side of the mod, and specifically on writing systems, an example of which I'm presenting today.
This is the writing system used for the Ilsamiren language, the tongue which holds a similar position to Latin in the Roman Empire.
Expect more from IW soon, as our modelling gets under way!
