Beautiful work! If I may ask, how did you come up with the idea of the crimson/green colors for the flags? They look awesome with this sort of grey stone and yet I haven't seen that combination in any other mods nor concept art.

It's not my art. I got permission from Nertea, the creator of The Dwarf Holds for BFME1 to use and adapt his work for AotR. So if you haven't seen it before, I strongly recommend downloading that mod.

Very interesting design based on The Dwarf Holds (TDH for short), very nice
very good work
Maybe the statues with open helmets more like the movies. The only good thing they have

hi they are points of view they are heroes statues, it is normal., It is to see their faces, but it is a point of view, it would be better to have several different types of statues, i think

our units can walk on the walls too ? or there will be automatic units on the wall itself that if an enemy comes closer thy will shoot like the building unit mechanic.

They'll look the same ingame, minus the ambient occlusion, plus bump maps.

I always loved the art style in TDH, glad to see it's being used again!

Really nice and majestic. This new style is not so bad. I'm curious about the other buildings. Will the battle tower/lone tower look like this?

Interesting wall design since it is a-symmetric. Now let's hope I won't be so stupid to place the wall ramparts facing inwards to my base instead of the enemy. ;)

Do you think it would be wise to suggest on the forums for a symmetrical wall? The crenelations can go on both sides.

It would centerly make sense if you make multiple walls next to each other. Once I am done with all that "exam" stuff today I will make the suggestion on Revora.
Thanks for the idea, I didn't think about putting it on the forum.

I'll probably just add something signifies 'front' on the hub.

For those interested, the Erebor Fortress model looks like it was based on The Dwarf Holds Guardhouse model, and Mathijs has done some heavy modification to the original structure.

But your Erebor faction was green stone, The Heart of the Mountain.

Maybe a Fortress upgrade ? Stone Heart: replaces the grey stone by the Green heart Mountain Stone and gives additional lifepoints.
