I roll away from the enemy while holding onto "q (melee key)", and then roll towards it to do the instant kill. I barely / never fire off a shot in a match, and have never died in one while doing this strategy; I sh*t you not.
-Rolling prevents the enemies (like the sickle-wielding ones and the spitting ones) from dealing damage to you, even when they hit you.
-Instant kill melee can destroy the annoying fatties or basically any of the enemy types.

What is your strategy in keeping alive?

I agree with the roll towards and instant kill. Ever since I started doing that, I've now been able to win Survival games with no deaths. Also, lately I've been using the instant kill ground smash more often. It especially comes in handy when you have to jump down to a spot where someone's soul stone is for example, but there is a bunch of zombies around it. Not only do you break the soul stone, but you instant kill all zombies in that smash radius.

Before the roll attack, I was just timing my jump-kick instant kills just right so that I could kill the (ranged) monster before they could attack (it can be done, the trick is to release the kick button a little early right before you land right in front of them).

Would you like to have some kind of reload time for the IK charge attacks ?

I was able to finally beat a few levels by going to an area that has only 1 entrance.
Then just shoot one direction.. Every once in a while the zombies drop weapons.. so im able to survive for 15 minutes.

On the first level, i stand on the roof on a house. and shoot them as they jump onto the roof.

The melee attacks are fine as they are (charged attacks don't need change, but it's up to you).
Backhand, roundhouse, right hook, uppercut... nice variety compared to some shooters I've played.

i'd like to see charge attacks have different levels depending on how long you hold down the melee key. as it stands, it's either insta kill charge or regular melee, right? it'd be nice if you held it for 2/3 of the time required for insta kill your melee attack becomes more powerful than the standard melee.
