The Haunted is a fast paced thirdperson horror-action game with focus on a intense multiplayer experience that is all about making a stand and liberating cursed places from the minions of evil. The game features several multiplayer modes such as coop or demons .vs. humans, where enemies are spawned and controlled by players. The outstanding visuals lay a perfect tone for the gameplay.

I've two major problems with your mod.

1. The audio went completely broken and then it froze my computer completely, requiring a hard restart.
2. It corrupted my UT3 install and now I can't even start the game anymore.

Have you tried reinstalling UT3?
Did you install the mod properly?
When did the audio 'break'? And did it crash at the same moment as the audio breaking?

A clean re-installation should fix your corruption.

A reinstall would take me hours, and I shouldn't have to reinstall for a simple mod. Of course I installed the mod properly since I was playing it. It didn't crash, it froze my system when I tried to quit out after the audio broke. The audio broke three minutes in or so.

I'am really sorry about that, never heard of anything like it. We did not make any major changes to ut3's audio system, so this is indeed strange.
I can assure that the haunted does not corrupt any Ut3 installations.
Try deleting the UTEngine.ini in the config folder(make a backup first), you may get prompted to re-enter your cd-key.

Do you mind posting your launch log file, found in the logs folder ?

Hmm difficult to determine the cause here. I have googled some of the errors and it seems they have occured to other people with normal UT3 too.
From the init: lines at least everything hardware releated seems fine. I'll let you know if i find out more.

I deleted the UT3Engine.ini and now it works fine. That's just weird.
