The Great Class Dash is a single-player modification for Team Fortress 2 that transforms the game into a side-scrolling platformer. Players will have the chance to play four challenging levels. Additionally, the levels are filled with class-specific obstacles, meaning all nine classes will need to be used to beat the game.

Hey Everyone! The first public build of the mod has been released! I've also uploaded a trailer showing some of the gameplay, so be sure to check that out.

As I said in the last post, this game is a simple platformer that is meant to test your reflexes. You start out with control of only one class, but more become available as you play.

I had a ton of fantastic ideas for the mod, and got even better ones from the community as I was building it. Unfortunately, I don't know any coding, and that restricted me to building it entirely with in-game scripting. Please keep that in mind when you play, and hopefully it will keep you entertained until the finish!

And feel free to contact me if you have any feedback or comments!

I just nocliped around and ran around. It was fun. I think you should also make more types of this. Like instead of changing class to get but have and adventure thing or an indiana jones thing. or have a version of the last stage where you are only a soldier destroy'n walls and stuff. or maybe even just a rebind for A left D right S rotate class down. w rotate class up. and space jump and ctrl crouch and enter attack? It was fun but some parts seemed lame.

something is wrong with the public beta. the scout only moves forward and I can't make him stop move or even access the main menu. seems like all keys are unbound except the mouse button 1 to fire and space to jump.

Hey Frohman,

Unfortunately, no, I can't make an editor. The best I can offer is if you know how to use hammer, then you can decompile the maps and make your own stages from there. Most of the entities needed to make it work are in their own separate area, but you'll definitely need to be familiar with entities and the IO system to make it work.
