The Great Class Dash is a single-player modification for Team Fortress 2 that transforms the game into a side-scrolling platformer. Players will have the chance to play four challenging levels. Additionally, the levels are filled with class-specific obstacles, meaning all nine classes will need to be used to beat the game.

Hey Everyone! The first public build of the mod has been released! I've also uploaded a trailer showing some of the gameplay, so be sure to check that out.

As I said in the last post, this game is a simple platformer that is meant to test your reflexes. You start out with control of only one class, but more become available as you play.

I had a ton of fantastic ideas for the mod, and got even better ones from the community as I was building it. Unfortunately, I don't know any coding, and that restricted me to building it entirely with in-game scripting. Please keep that in mind when you play, and hopefully it will keep you entertained until the finish!

And feel free to contact me if you have any feedback or comments!

Yep, mate, this is TOTALLY like Mario, because, every 2D-game is like mario -.- The whole world is like mario..
I mean, it's all stolen, in Mario, you play HWGuy, you play Scout, you play Sniper, etc..
Thanks for your troll comment, mouse10, just what we needed.

i would really like to make a mod like this game. it'll have an actual STORYLINE! :3

but unfortunately the "create mod" button for the 2009 source engine is broke, and nobody on the Steam forums is of any help- they keep rambling on about how tf2 was never meant to be single-player and "oooh, the GCD is just a big old map. learn to map, n00b". it's REALLY getting annoying and i NEED to know how to make a TF2 mod.

It is just one giant map. The script folder you download is what makes it 3rd person and makes you auto-run sideways.

To evad all the "Getting stuck" bug maybe there should be a command to reset to the last checkpoint back as normal. Perhaps it solves a few problems.

LoLz, here's a glitch, drink bonk or eat sandvich by switching to it and press fire, and you go into first person veiw.... but another not so fun glitch happens when you change classes right when hitting the ground after double jumping.... you get stuck in the floor and can't get out. Love this mod though. Beat 1st level in 1st person view ;D
