The Fourth Age: Total War - The Dominion of Men is a full-conversion & fully modfoldered modification for Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion 1.6. Inspired solely by the written works of J.R.R. Tolkien, it seeks to reflect both the spirit and lore of Middle-earth as Tolkien saw it. The Dominion of Men is fully stable, feature-rich, innovative, thoroughly balanced, and conforms to the highest standards of both graphical and coding quality.

Just wanted to thank you guys for the mod. I love the griddy dark age feeling it gives. I most of all like hard mods and games. I thank you for creating a mod that for the first time playing as Far Harad, I was actually beaten fair and square for the first time in many years. I also love the loading screens...oddly enough this is the only game or mod where I like loading alot just to see them hahaha

Now I'm adapting on my second playthrough and took the advice to lower the campaign difficulty.(but im keeping the battle dif on Live Dragons!)

Most mods and Total War Games were simply to easy, players love a challege. And dont be afraid to continue the element of realism and struggle, complexity is awesome.

Also the traits ect. are the most realisticly immursive I've ever seen on the characters. Great writing and music as well. (though I thought I may have heard an orginal Rome Total War battle music when I was fighting as Far Harad in the south).

At first I was really sketchy about this mod but now I gotta go and give it a 10!

My only request is maybe a slightly bigger map is always cool. But yeah I havent left far Harad yet so Im happy to discover it on my own. And does Dispeling a populance, do the same thing as enslaving them? I hope it does because I need slaves lol

EDIT

POSTED!

Thanks mate! And yes, dispelling is enslavement, renamed so it sounds a bit more appropriate for some of our 'good' factions (since we can't disable it).
