The Four Ages is a mod for the Battle for Middle Earth 2 based on the world of the books of J.R.R. Tolkien, where you'll be able to revive the best stories of the Silmarillion.
The Factions will be: Elves, Men, Dwarves and Angband. Every faction will have minifactions. So you could create, for example, playing with Angband, Tol Sirion or the Evil Men.
The battles will be much more bigger than now, not only because of higher cp, too because of the different ages you will have along the game. Since werewolves, Beorn, Balrogs, Morgoth, Feanor, Fingolfin, Finrod...
Some new interesting features have also been added, like camera inclinations, skyboxes, and a completely new working system for each faction.

It has been a long since the last time I posted something here. A lot has been done, and a lot still needs to be done. Angband has been totally finished, as the dwarven faction (although I said I'd not do it). The elven faction has been started (I'll explain how it works later) and I've added some interesting features as camera inclinations or new maps. I have also published a video, which I'll upload in the download section.
Let me start with the dwarves:

Those exterior buildings (Based on Khazad-dum and Nogrod) can only be constructed in the cliffs, and they provide you upgrades, siege weapons and elite units.
Finally, the mod is compatible with the WOTR mode. Anyway, a map of Beleriand would be a very hard task to do, so I won't change it now and the Middle Earth's one will remain.

Its good to see a mod will finally include the silmarillion, I hope the mod will continue to progress sucessfully and for that I will track.

THIS IS THE BEST MOD EVER...The first Silmarillion experience in computer games ever...PLS does anybody know if it is ever going to be completed? A lot of people are looking forward to playing this for sure...The beta version is superb but only Angbands' forces were developed (and there were bugs like the easterlings too...)!!! Keep up the great work!!!
