I got a letter this morning, I feared the worst and I got the worst, cancer of the lung, my punishment for all those years of non stop chain smoking. That was the problem with the NAM, they handed those things out like candy on a regular basis, probably would never have coped so well if it wasn't for smokes. I guess my best years are behind me. Regrets? Sure, there are many... but you can't change the past so what's the point in dwelling on it? Anyway, there's no rest for the wicked, I've got work to do, some kid ran away to a place called Pinewood Creek and hasn't been heard from since, now her father needs me to go there and find out what's happened to her. It seems the authorities aren't giving him any answers, claiming they've never even seen the girl, I guess I'm his last hope. Maybe if I find this girl, God will give me a chance for Redemption.. you know.. if there actually is a God. Well.. I guess I better get going, I want to be out on the highway before dark. Pinewood Creek here I come...'
The Forgotten is a single-player third-person survival horror game for Half-Life influenced by the likes of Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Forbidden Siren, Clive Barker's Hellraiser / Tortured Souls and Blood among other things. As private detective Jack Dawson, you will travel to the town of Pinewood Creek to investigate the disappearance of Claire Benton.

The Forgotten needs YOU!
I need someone or some people to design drawn layouts for certain locations, they need to be realistic and laid out neatly so that a map can be created from them (TF will feature a fully working map system). Graph paper will help as it will help lay things out in the editor or you can draw it in photoshop if you're that good. I currently do have someone meant to design layouts but he's MIA and I haven't spoken to him in ages. With him not producing new layouts for me to work from, it's making it hard to design the environments at present.
Areas I need plans for are;
Nate's Motel
Pinewood County Police Station
Linhares Manor
Urkham Asylum
Pinewood Creek town
Layouts for The Elderworld and additional locations I can produce myself but when it comes to making plans for maps I am not so good. I've already made a rough plan of the town but I need a fully detailed drawing of the town with buildings, item locations, key areas etc.
If you can help me out, drop me a PM or reply here. In order for you to be accepted onto the team, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SHOW ME YOUR PREVIOUS WORK, in addition to this I will also set you a task to complete. If you wish to offer help in other fields of designing the mod, contact me and we'll discuss it further.
On top of this, as you may now know TF is no longer a one man project, the team is:

Minuit - Coding, model rigging/editing/compiling.

dude how is your guy supposed to fight off monsters with lung cancer? are the monsters like stationary or growling inatimate objects. cuz this guy doesnt stand a chance in hell if he is chased by anything.
Hey Deads is your character gonna have new animations? ( I mean im sure he will but I just want to know just incase because I hate half life 1 default animations x-x )
Yeah, most of the animations will be new or modified, there may be some HL animations but they wont be that noticable.
