Because of the war and widespread disease and famine, China suffered 35 million casualties, 20 million of which died. The war in East Front lasted for 4 years, in Europe 6 years, in China, 8 years since Marco Polo Bridge Incident and the war fully broke out in Mid-1937, but in fact, Chinese never gave up resistance for 14 years, after Mukden Incident in 1931……

We cherishes the memory of the martyrs, and we will never forget the foreign friends who helped us to win the liberation, no matter they're American, Russian, or German……

The Far East mod create no new faction, just replace Allies with NRA (National Revolutionary Army) , and replace Axis with IJA (Imperial Japanese Army). But the units, equipments, and doctrines are totally changed. Under the premise of trying to keep a neutral view and balancing, we want to show and get more attention about our nation's effort in the war.

Do you guys have the same problem where everything is in "gibrish" and some numbers and than NoRange ?
I have the german version of CoH New Steam Version with every Addon.
Hope you guys can help me! see you arround!

It's because the mod is English. The mod maker needs to release a German language pack for you.

You have to do the same as I do... weeks of work ;)

Or you just activate the commonwealth and Panzer Elite faction but Axis and Allies are overwriten by Japan and Chinese.

ohh right make this best you can, this mod is very good!!! but if you can improve banzai charges for japan, for example a super charge you call off-map, this is cool!!!

I already put in a Kamikaze-plane, but it's not working correctly. He won't crash the plane into the enemies or he fly just trough them but didn't crash.
The fx effect is nearly the same as a V1 rocket.

Furthermore I put for the Japan faction an air raid command ability in. In this ability three different types of planes with different weapons (MG, Bombs, Fire) attacks a very big area on the map and attacks enemies automatically. So it is very powerful.

The asian AI isn't working yet, in the mod fusion, so they do nothing. It is very tough to find the error which is the reason for this.
But I hope I can fix it someday.

can you instead teach us how to activate commonwealth and panzer elite faction? give us a detailed instruction for those, such as me, who are not that literate when it comes to these kinds of things. thank you. this will very much be appreciated

So here the description:
1. install CoH and Far East of course
2. download Corsix's mod studio
3. open Corsix's mod studio and open the "Far_East_Mod.module"
4. go to "attrib/racebps/..." open allied_commonwealth.rgd or axis_panzer_elite.rgd
5. in race_type you have to type "allies" for commonwealth and "axis" for panzerelite; that's why they are not shown

(you can even type it otherwise, so you can play panzerelite in allied team) ;)

If an overwriting error appears, when you tried to save the .rgd file, you have to read this forum topic what you have to do:

It is for blitzkrieg mod, but it works the same as for far east mod.

You will get this if the mod fusion comes out. It only depends on the dev's of Eastern Front decision for now if I am allowed to upload the mod fusion or not.

All-in-all, this mod is VERY well done. The animations are very nice, the new features such as Melee combat and Artillery-towing are welcomed additions. The Imperial Japanese Army is well-done in the mod, and are very enjoyable to use using most-any Doctrine. The Doctrines are also very well-done, giving new units to each Nation from each Doctrine, whether it be a M4 Sherman for the NRA or a Type 89 I-Go~otsu for the Japanese. The weapons are all well-done as well, especially the Kijiro Nambu Type…
