This isnt Ka-28 Helix. Not at all.
Yes it is not Ka-28. SInce it is Russian helicopter I decided to make Z-8 and keep the old name Helix. Is that a problem?
China uses Russian Helixes under that name.
So I can't understand your point, what is the problem with Z-8 helicopter and the name I kept?
Do you like the model and texture? - I think this is more important here... or you just want to argue with somebody...
The model and texture is great, but the name is an issue. I wouldnt have anything if it would be a real Helix. If it is Z-8, why dont you address it as this? Its like you will make a model that looks like Abrams, and call it Patton. Same deal.
And why not? What is so wrong, this is just a game... The same reason I redone Overlord and nuke cannon, because they like Helix too are iconic for china in zero hour... I think you understand me well... But if it so big problem anytime can rename it ;)

yeah, i don't get why you need to redo the name of a unit just because it looks like a RL unit. it's like saying just because alexie redid the battlemaster he HAS to rename it to the unit it was inspired by, the "T-??" if you get what i mean. i'm sure he's just redoing the original models to look better and "realistic" and keeping it close to generals by maintaining the names of our beloved units :)
I admire him. I only argue if it defiles something major.
that helicopter reminds me of battlefield 2, there chinese transport helicopter that is fully loaded with ammunition and machine guns at the side and at the back
This is Aerospatiale Super Frelon, in China it have callname Z-8. It's even more accurate than Ka-27, since Chinese military have more Z-8s than Ka-27s.
