Year 2552... The Earth is no longer habitable since year 2401 due to the atmosphere collapse and temperature rise. Human race has been forced to live in the different colonized planets into the Solar System. This was called "The Second Exodus". After the "Enceladus Atmosphere Implementation Program" (EAIP) succeeded in year 2295, Saturn's moon Enceladus turned into the most important human colony into the Solar System altogether with Titan's. After the EAIP implementation, Aperture Laboratories developed their more ambitious testing program, The Enceladus Initiative.
Hey guys... what do you think of the lastest look of the elevator that gets you one step closer to finish your nightmare through Enceladus??
Very nice design for the elevator room. I can't wait to see more. One suggestion though, maybe replace the Aperture Labs logo on the elevator texture by the one you created. Kinda like this new version.
indeed!
Thank you guys for the comments! About the logo on the elevator floor, I thought of changing it indeed, I may do it if I have some time to decompile the model, implement my logo and recompile it again
Could I possibly make the skin? I would be more than happy to, and I certainly have the time.
Anyway, you should notice that there are 2 elevator shafts indeed: one is the arrival one and the other the departure. This one is the departure elevator shaft, which is drowned, but you start in the arrival elevator shaft which I wanted to make different, and it doesn't contain water, but a "bottomless" death pit submerged in fog...
Now I've been thinking, with all those leaks, are you sure that mod of yours isn't located in Rapture?
Wow! to be frank, I had to goggle that of Rapture in order to answer you comment! So it's a submerged city in Bioshock, right? I hope that you don't take it agaisnt me but I never played Bioshock... I've heard about it, but never had a chance to play, sorry.
The thing is that I love the slimes as a hazard element, and I can promise this mod will be soooo drowned (like if it was Portal challenge mode). On the other hand, if you take a look at the mod story, water has been produced by melting Enceladus surface and it's very unstable/toxic...
There's no offense in not knowing a video game. =D
But yes, my point was the place has a high rate of humidity, like it was submerged. Anyway, the water texture looks better than the acid pools of Aperture, but the color still tells me to not put my toes in it.
Ye, that was the point, I'm glad that water look says so...
