Battle for Middle-earth mod | Released Jan 13, 2007
This mod will add an Elven Faction to your Battle for Middle-Earth game while also making various changes to the other factions. New heroes include Galadriel, Elrond, Haldir, Gamling, and Gothmog; Spearmen of the Havens, Mirkwood Scouts, and Riders of Rivendell are among the new units. A few changes will be made to the campaign for the initial release, with greater plans for later versions. While this mod will not add anything terribly revolutionary in terms of gameplay, it does offer some of the most high-quality skins you'll find in any Battle for Middle-Earth mod. The Elves will also offer new strategies for cavalry, stealth, and sieges.

Here it is, the latest version of The Elven Alliance. This update features the many changes made to Rohan since the last release, as well as all the new models and skins for other factions featured in updates. A full list of additions, changes, fixes, and bugs can be found here.
A few things of note:
- -you do NOT need the original release installed to install the update
-if you already have the original installed, this will replace the older version
-PLEASE read through the installer. It includes Installation Troubleshooting as well as important terms of use information
-if you're still having problems after reading everything included in the installer, make a post in the forums, and I'll do my best to help you out

this mod is the best dudes, i got an even better version of it now, rohan has had MASSIVE improvments :D
You need:
- Battle for Middle-Earth (not BFME II)
- Patch 1.03
- You may have to uninstall any other previously downloaded mods (some mods are BAD and don't allow you to play any other mods)
- If all else fails, uninstall BFME, delete everything in the Battle for Middle Earth (tm) folder, reinstall, repatch, then install the mod again.
- Make sure you use The Elven Alliance icon to play the mod, not the normal BFME icon
- If you get an error on the skirmish menu, this is because your skirmish profile has information from another mod that conflicts with The Elven Alliance. To fix this, go into your My Battle for Middle-Earth folder (Should be C:\Documents and Settings\YOURACCOUNTNAME\Application Data\My Battle for Middle-earth Files) and move YOURNAMEskirmishstats file out of this folder (move it somewhere for safe keeping, this is your skirmish stats information).
do i need some spesific version to play this mod or is there something els? because the game crashes everytime i get to the LOTR ikon..!
well i very rarely say this but.... this is a fooking amazing MOD, i just wish mmods were easier to download tho, but im very impressed with this mod maker, so keep up the gr8 work man!
It's a problem on your end (of course there are models for the new things). Please visit this thread here: Forums.revora.net . Numerous solutions have been posted in regards to installation problems, and if none of them work, you can post your problem and what you've tried, and someone will try to help you out.
