The Dwarf Holds (TDH for short) is a modification for the Battle for Middle-earth, a real time strategy game by EA. We're adding a Dwarven faction based on Erebor, while also tweaking and adding a couple of things to the four original factions to get them up to the level of our new faction. This mod is being developed by Nertea, Matias (Dorian_Gray), M@tt, mike_ and Lauri. The mod is hosted by The 3rd Age, a division of Revora, the creative community. www.the3rdage.net www.revora.net

Hello everyone,

We are proud to present to you all...

An Unexpected Mod

AUM is a campaign mod for BFME2. We are working on creating a new campaign based on the events of The Hobbit (films and books, including LotR appendices).

These missions will be mapped and scripted from scratch, with all-new art for units and heroes. Our current mission list (without gameplay details, of course ;)) can be found in the mod's summary.

To participate in an active discussion about what each mission will entail, you can join us at our subforum on the3rdage.net

We will be updating this profile often with new renders, map screenshots, and other goodies.

Thanks,

The AUM Team

RA will not be continued by anyone. Trust me, it's not in a playable state. It basically needs recoding from scratch.

Dwarves have a Summon Dale Allies power, which contains two Dale units. We also hope to include a Dale map with special buildings in a future release.

could not add to the elves together with dwarves?
would be better if the mod is already good but it would be much better
and they are doing a great job but I could improve and I'm sure he liked a lot more fans
and a second version added to the goblins to leave the game like bfme 2
is that they can do thousands of people will thank you
please...

No that's an awful idea. The Erebor faction is already full of new units and buildings, adding Elves would over complicate things and leave the faction with twice the units that the other factions do.

And there are not enough options to make a goblin faction. If we were making a faction, we would want to make it unique and varied, and a goblin faction would be neither.

two questions:
day of 2010 that will be ready?
and
it will increase the graphics requirement?

Early 2010.

The graphical requirements are higher than the vanilla game, as all skins are high-resolution. But it should be less laggy due to new leadership fx. But the game is 5 years old, so it's only old computers that will have a problem.

This mod is extremely good, maybe even the best bfme 1 mod out there, It adds an entire, fully complete dwarf faction that blends in perfectly with the other 4, there are a TON of maps that are all extremely well made, and nearly all units have been re-skined and look amazing. I would definitely recommend it, cause it's only going to get better with each update.
