What if GDI and Nod failed to defeat CABAL during the Firestorm Crisis? With both organizations destroyed by CABAL, nothing was stopping the rogue AI from conquering the world, replacing humanity with cybernetics. The Forgotten, out of the way for much of the Firestorm Crisis, now find themselves being hunted down, conflicted between fortifying their sanctuaries and actively waging a guerrilla war for their own survival. The years of unchecked Tiberium growth would also eventually attract the Scrin, expecting Earth to be devoid of hostile life. Their ignorance would only end up thrusting them into the war between CABAL and the Forgotten mutants, a dangerous situation due to their unpreparedness but their desire for the Tiberium Ichor drives them to destroy anything that stands in their way. A new Tiberium War is about to begin between CABAL, the Forgotten, and the Scrin. Conquest, survival, addiction. For whom will you fight for?

The Bastion is an odd looking drone that serves as the Omicron Matrix's primary combat vehicle. It has been given nicknames such as "Walking Fridge", "Blockhead", and "The Brick" due to it's appearance while it's manner of movement has also garnered it the nickname "Shuffler". To be expected of an Omicron machine, it is rather slow but well armored and armed with a pair of medium lasers that are generally effective against vehicles and infantry but less so against structures. Befitting of it's defensive role, it can transform into it's siege mode where it's large turret opens up to reveal a large caliber gun that requires it's legs to double as stabilizers. It is incapable of movement in this mode but it's gun fires shells that are more effective at demolishing buildings and groups of units. These shells are also loaded with Catalyst warheads designed to react violently with Tiberium, making it effective at neutralizing Tiberium-based lifeforms which includes pretty much the entirety of The Forgotten and Scrin.
Sounds like a CABAL version of the Terran Siege tank from Starcraft
Its not meant to be an artillery unit tho. Its more of a mobile defense turret since it's weapon's range is no further than a regular tank gun.
The Gamma Legion will get a tier 2 spider tank/artillery combo.
