The Delta Sector is a modification for FarCry which will meet the highest quality expectations and will use the full capacity of the Cryengine 1. There will be new weapons, new vehicles and new enemies in this mod. You are a member of a special forces team. It's your job to check what's happening in eastern Europe, because many military forces accumulate in one area.

Delta Sector Mod v1.0
The final version of The Delta Sector modification for FarCry has been released. This mod features three singleplayer missions, a multiplayer mode and has dramatically improved graphics. The multiplayer mode got a completely new gameplay. It's much more action, excitement and fun.
The player is able to fight with 8 different weapons against soldiers, helicopters or aliens. Every single singleplayer mission got it's own completely unique design and environment.
Delta Sector Patch v1.1
Recently the new Patch 1.1 is avaible too. The Patch for the Delta Sector mod contains some Bugfixes and is improving the multiplayer mode. We added the FFA mode to all existing Delta Sector maps and added 2 completely new FFA/TDM maps. (called TDS_densewoods, CRYPACK_4)

The Assault mode is available in TDS now too. But at the moment there are no maps. So it would be appreciated, if some good modders take the time to create one. The shortcut to run the mod editor and all presets to create your own Delta Sector maps are included and can be found in the 'TheDeltaSector' directory.

Im now at the infiltration level and so far i think ive had one of the best experience in a singleplayer mod. The gameplay and the graphic are awesome. But after i get pass the castle in the level and get to the point after that, the game suddenly exit. Is this mean that i completed the mods or it is the just a bug ?
I've played through the first mission well into the snowy level. So far I am extremely impressed. First off the graphics are incredible considering that this is running on cryengine 1. It could well be mistaken for a crysis mod. The gameplay is fun, although I can already see it getting a tad repetetive as times. My only big citicism is that the game is extremely hard. I put the difficulty setting all the way down and you can still only take a few its before dropping dead. This wasn't a huge problem in the first level but with the dense snow effects in the second, it is difficult to see your enemies but it doesn't seem to have effected the enemies visibily enough. I think it would be worth tweaking the difficulty settings, especially in regards to health an armour in order to improve upon the game.
Keep up the great work! I'm sure crytek would be proud to have made this.
hey man a hard FPS game is just what the FPS genre needs
ive yet to try this game out ill be giving it a shot after this friday and stating my opinions also could someone tell me roughly how long it takes to complete so i can plan a run through of the game

Hey guys, your mod looks very promising, however your trailer is horrible.
Its literally nothing. I would hate to see a project like this go to waste and since people look mostly at your trailer I would hope you guys fix it up. Granted this is just my opinion but heres some tips.
Your views of thee scenery are too long, make them 5-7 seconds and only have around 3-4 of them.
Then show some action new weapons n what not. then just go back and forth actions to scenery to action. If you've got a plot, throw a little in there too.
please loose all the current action shots you have. well thats my opinion take it or leave it.
