The Delta Sector is a modification for FarCry which will meet the highest quality expectations and will use the full capacity of the Cryengine 1. There will be new weapons, new vehicles and new enemies in this mod. You are a member of a special forces team. It's your job to check what's happening in eastern Europe, because many military forces accumulate in one area.

Delta Sector Mod v1.0
The final version of The Delta Sector modification for FarCry has been released. This mod features three singleplayer missions, a multiplayer mode and has dramatically improved graphics. The multiplayer mode got a completely new gameplay. It's much more action, excitement and fun.
The player is able to fight with 8 different weapons against soldiers, helicopters or aliens. Every single singleplayer mission got it's own completely unique design and environment.
Delta Sector Patch v1.1
Recently the new Patch 1.1 is avaible too. The Patch for the Delta Sector mod contains some Bugfixes and is improving the multiplayer mode. We added the FFA mode to all existing Delta Sector maps and added 2 completely new FFA/TDM maps. (called TDS_densewoods, CRYPACK_4)

The Assault mode is available in TDS now too. But at the moment there are no maps. So it would be appreciated, if some good modders take the time to create one. The shortcut to run the mod editor and all presets to create your own Delta Sector maps are included and can be found in the 'TheDeltaSector' directory.

This was a cool and fun mod for farcry and i hope you'll make more mods and for oter games too . Your mod is great! ;)
Anyone having a problem connecting to anyone in Multiplayer? we have been trying for months and either Internet or lan can we get a game going. Any help would be appreciated

@azerty6: If you bought Far Cry from Steam you have to put your mods in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Mods. If you have the usual copy and you put the mod in C:/Program Files/Ubisoft/Crytek/Far Cry/Mods and it still doesn't work I cannot help you. Hope that helps.
I also have far cry through steam but A) there was no "Mods" folder in common. B) I created one and installed it into it but I still can't get the mod to come up in the mod selection menu in-game. Am I being a complete nincompoop?
NOT to worry it's all done now!!! Excellent use of the engine. Astounding tbh.
I enjoyed this very much, nice difficulty, I found the AI a little daft, at times but I think the spec of my machine let this mod down for me. Environmentally this is awesome pure quality. Feels like it just needs some fine tuning.

I am having a little probleme (this may sound stupide) I have downloaded the 1.0 and then the 1.1 version of Delta Sector, and installed bothe (in the correct order) but then when i start FarCry and look in the "mod" section all i see is "FarCry" and nothing else.T_T
Please help me I am about being able to try this game ^^
hello ! Very Very Nice Work ! Best Mod ever made for far cry . I am a modder and i'm try to create my own mod with your material but i have two big problem :
1- why your mod can't run .bik video files between levels ?
2- i create my own character and all animations works perfectly but his dying animation have a bug because when it died , it was not falling on the surface and flying like crazy bird in the sky ! please help me and thanks ! ( sorry about my bad english )
incredible mod. mixes balls to the wall action with stealth perfectly. the gunfights are intense and very difficult because it's hard to actually locate the enemies firing at you, which is friggin awesome. AI works well for me, when i duck down into the grass, they typically lose sight of me and begin to fire blindly, unless they have been stalking me, and then they just destroy me ;).
