Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

Are those rays of light?! O_o

It looks pretty good. Lots of possible attack paths if you played this map 1v1, but if you actually played it more then 3 or 4 people some of the starting locations would be super-EZ to just turtle forever unless like 2 or 3 people used their SWs on them.

Otherwise yes, but you can't effectively turtle with only one tiberium field. And getting control of more requires you to expand away from your corner.

Temperate is actually temperate + snow combined, just like desert is normal desert + light desert combined.

You can place snow from Ground -> Ground 1 in the FinalSun sidebar, and by holding Ctrl (fill) when clicking on a tile it will fill the whole map with snow.

Then you can disable AutoLAT and use the "Terrain / Ground" selector (the bottom part of FinalSun UI) to place things like snowy shores and cliffs. All the tile sets that start with "~~~" are for snow terrain.

The combined theaters is why we're able to create maps like Springnight ( Media.moddb.com ) that have both grass and snow on them.

AutoLAT automatically applies correct terrain transition graphics. For example, try placing a single tile of snow on a map otherwise filled with grass; with AutoLAT enabled the nearby grass tiles will be changed to enable a smooth transition to the snow texture, while without AutoLAT you will see a sharp border.

AutoLAT only works with one terrain type though, hence you need to disable it when placing things like cliffs on snow. Otherwise FinalSun will automatically change some of the snow next to the cliffs to grass.
