Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 100 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.

Description

This is the full version of Dawn of the Tiberium Age v1.1555: all files necessary to play are included, so you also don't need to have the original game installed. To install the mod, simply extract all files to an empty folder and run DTA.exe to play.

Unsure if its a bug but it is strange.

Once you sold your powerplant (for example because of space issues), you cant build the refinery & co. anymore although have have lots of advanced powerplants. That is rather strange, the advanced powerplant should lead to the same options as the basic powerplant.

I've only ever seen that "bug" when I undeploy/lose my construction yard, then redeploy it. That happens because the building dependencies are for POWER, not ADVPOWER. (Can't remember the exact dependencies names, but you get the gist of it.)

This issue has been present ever since Allies and Soviet were added and it's an engine limitation (it's not really a bug). And like General_Green mentioned, you will only lose the construction options if you lose or re-deploy your Construction Yard.

I agree it's a bit annoying though, so maybe I'll think of something. Entirely removing the power plant as the prerequisite for the barracks and refinery could be an option...

Futhermore that one is a bug for sure:
If you play Costal path revisited (4players) with 4 players (me and 3 bots), and then play Costal path (2 players) afterwards, 4 players will show up on that map as well. That was unexpected never seen such a bug :D

In DTA 1.15 you're able to have more players in a game than the specified maximum. If you have 3 AI players in the game lobby on a 2-player map, then there will be 3 AI players in-game.

If you want, you can even have 4v4 matches on 2-player maps. This behaviour is intended and is identical to the original Red Alert and Tiberian Sun.

If you don't want there to be extra players, just don't put more than 1 AI into the game on a 2-player map.

Okay thats perfectly fine then, their spawn just seem unintented thus it looked like a bug.

If you don't put the "extra" players to pre-defined starting locations on the map preview, the game will just randomly throw the players somewhere on the map where it thinks there's some build space. So, the spawn locations can often be unintentional when the number of players exceeds the map's maximum.

I find it somewhat fun to see where the extra players end up. It can make matches on a map pretty varied since the spawn locations differ each time.

I currently have windows 10 Home version 1607 OS Build 14393.187 On September 25th 2016, Microsoft performed an update and ever since then , DTA crashes within minutes of starting a skirmish game. Any thoughts or ideas to fix this?
