41 comments by Archie_SnC on Mar 4th, 2015

It's the third and final pre-release Q&A from The Core devs! Ask any question about the development of the mod and we'll answer it in an upcoming video!

The best question wins a Core T-shirt!

Once again, we have to thank you guys and gals from the bottom of our hearts. It's not been easy keeping development moving due to real life circumstances and various obstacles we've had to overcome, but without fail the ModDB community has kept us inspired and we owe you big time.

How long shall we expect the Core to be? Also how difficult on easy, medium and hard will the mod be, especially if you are wearing BM security armor.

In terms of play time you'll likely be looking at a couple of hours, or more if you really explore the levels.

As for difficulty: The mod will be relatively easy on easy, about medium difficulty on medium and quite hard on the hard setting...

I'm honestly not sure how else I could have answered that. :P

There are thirty maps. If you spend an average of seven minutes per map (I'd estimate between 5 and 10 is realistic) you're looking at three and a half hours. Speed runners will probably be able to more than half that, and those who like to smell the roses will probably be looking at closer to five hours (10 minutes per map)

This is great to know! Somehow the content you have released seems to imply way more than 30 maps though! I am currently 15 maps into my mod, I intended it to only have 5-6 when I began! Probably going to have to rein it in soon before I end up with more than you guys!
