Once again, we have to thank you guys and gals from the bottom of our hearts. It's not been easy keeping development moving due to real life circumstances and various obstacles we've had to overcome, but without fail the ModDB community has kept us inspired and we owe you big time.

Damn ,how the hell i din't see this mod earlier ?! I just discover it and by looking the trailer , scrennshots and the decription you guys defenetly have my vote and i will track the mod too of course really can't wait for playing it , oh btw i'm using an ultra hd pack for hl/op4/bs you guys think it will broke the mod if i don't uninstall the pack before installing the core ?

Afaik, it won't make a difference as we're using custom textures and models throughout. - I might test that theory though.

if you man to test the pack that im talking about , to see if theres no problem you can dowload it here : Moddb.com
but actually the new models/sounds of the pack are in hl/opposing force / blue shift folders so the pack's files will not be in the core folders , maybe i just freak out about broking this amazing upcoming mod.

Unless the pack you're using has some scary installation process we're unaware of, it should be completely independant of The Core. HL and mods have a hierarchy when it comes to selecting the content it loads and first and foremost is the mod's own folder. Second is the valve folder and if it still hasn't found the content its searching for it'll load from the GCF file as HL does by default.

hum about the "scary installation process" the pack was just about " put the new models/sounds files in hl /gearbox / blue shift folder " btw i have an other half-life mod afraid of monster that have no problem , and like i said above the files will be not in the core folders , but cause it's a half-life mod and about the hl story (with maybe some hl files) , the weapons of the pack will work with the core and actually the glock seen in the trailer is the glock that i have in my pack xD.

I absolutely hate HD models in Half-Life 1 games.

There are no HD models in The Core. This is Goldsource - the highest of high def models are still super low-poly.

The original models can certainly be used but wouldn't tie in with the plot and the HD approach we've taken with the mapping.

At the moment, there are no plans to create an LD model set for the mod, but other people are more than welcome to.
