The Core T-shirt

Unfortunately due to Urby's new job / new baby / new house, we've had to postpone releasing the actual Q&A video, but it shouldn't take too much longer. I keep telling him that The Core is more important than his infant child, but the fool seems to think otherwise. I'll keep pestering him, but in the meantime thankyou so much for all your brilliant questions; there are so many more than we expected!

Picking the winner wasn't easy, either. In the end it was extremely close between JeffMOD, TheSkunk & flippedoutkyrii. JeffMOD won it because we think it prompted the most interesting answers!

Not to worry, though! There will be more competitions in the near future, not to mention the actual mod's release!

If you're dying to show your support and get your hands on a shirt before the next competition, gimme a private message for a special order. Because we're not buying in bulk, shirts cost £25 including post and packaging.

Sorry to keep you waiting!

Classic Half-Life can't be redone to beat it. Just played the remake, and I just didn't like the new Marine voices, man... Classic only bro. Can't wait for the Core as well.

I concur though it was an amazing remake. I can't wait to see how the Gonarch and Nihilanth boss fights will be executed. But I see what ya mean though. Nothing beats HL1 IMO. Not even HL2. HL1 rules!

The new remake is pretty... but feels flaccid.

But seriously I know what ya mean there. Even though I like the remake with a strong passion, there's something about the voice acting that I honestly don't find as intriguing as the original's. I guess it's the tone or the enunciation. It just feels emotionless. :u

How long do you estimate the mod is relative to HL1, Op4, and BS?

There are thirty maps. If you spend an average of seven minutes per map (I'd estimate between 5 and 10 is realistic) you're looking at three and a half hours. Speed runners will probably be able to more than half that, and those who like to smell the roses will probably be looking at closer to five hours (10 minutes per map)

so I'll take about 26 hours looking at all the shiny things, and listening to every word Ross Scott says... no ****

NGHL (New Gauge Half Life) is a client for speedrunners.. but it has a lot of cool features tho!
You should try it out. ;) Anyway I've reijstalled NGHL only.. but maybe it's really because of the Steam version. I will try that thank you. :)
