Half-Life: The Core is a classic retelling of the events surrounding the Resonance Cascade disaster from a new perspective. Featuring intense action, complex puzzles and believable narrative through all-new locations in Black Mesa with remarkable visual fidelity, pacing and humour.
More work on the previous area I showed
Lovely, the morbid industrial charm (nobody would like to have a seat there) and the attention to details, especially the steam rising from the drain.
I would take a nap there..
This is the height of GoldSrc modding.
The support on the right looks like wood with this lighting, dunno how you achieved this; Anyway love how you place props and corpses, look so natural and well filled!
That's what I call a massacre.
For some reason, those chairs looks out of place.
The level design is, as usual, amazing.
Do you guys just map as you go along or is there lots of planning beforehand?
Lovely as always indeed. Good work the colors and textures in here are well chosen.
I see you have a particle system there. But you should put some more work into that smoke. Having a particle system is one half. Making cool smoke with it is the other (its also the part that is fun).
Otherwise: Good work
No particles, it's a sprite. I'm also not entirely sure how I could put more work into it or even how you could tell that I need to. It's really impossible to judge properly without seeing it animated.
i would take those chairs out and replace them with boxes
Place a metal bench instead of chairs! It feels more appropriate.
