I almost thought that silhouette in the window was a Stegosaurus. Other than that, awesome work!

I really feel like the spot between the glass frame, and the ceiling is missing something. Environments fine, but I feel like it's rather empty in that particular area.

Some electronic wiring or even direction lines might be a good idea, but Urby has some more outside-the-box ideas, so I'll leave it to him.

Thanks LTD. Still a work in progress area, but regarding wiring we have recently had some prop models made for this very purpose. :D

While you're at it, add a little, glowing, red light in the corner of that machinery in the back wall.

No need to thank me.
Just send the check in the mail.

If this is getting the "Opposing force design philosophy" where there's lots of tight offices connected together then this is probably gonna be great for those who enjoy exploring. I hope that what's seen through the top windows is also accessible.

The upper floor isn't accessible at the moment, however there are several areas areas in this section for curious players to check out.

Great vibe going on here, a lot of people forget in their mods that the Half-Life story allows for some pretty creepy moments!

I need to know though, that bull-squid, it honestly looks like some form of shadow in the upper window, is that some kind of animated texture or a model rendered black or something?

The shadow in the upper window is indeed a model, and although it has a darker skin the model is not completely black. It's just an nice little accidental effect thanks to the lighting in the upper area.

This would be the central complex mentioned in the trailer. The area has been left without power and is running on a backup generator, limiting which systems remain in operation.

Description

The area shown here is a rebuild of an area shown about 2 years ago. The original can be seen in the top right.

While this hallway was nicely lit and had some cool shadows, the area felt generally empty and had little purpose. Now it allows access to one or two other labs and the lighting from the areas above it through the windows offer an even more eery tone.
