The cassandra project is an old and cool mod demo, it uses realistic weapons instead of the futuristic DX ones, the mod is unfinished but it features a new lockpicking system, a new electronic hack system, also the inventory is used in an other manner.

As You can read in dx forums and on moddb Cassandra project was cancelled. There will bo no part 2 unfortunately :(

I just have one thing to say..."Sweet seduction in a magazine, endless pleasure in a limousine, in the back shakes a tambourine, Nicotine from a silver screen... bum tish bum tish bumbarum".
I just finished playing this & wow I was like wtf is going on! I loved the weapons & the character was sweet but it was so short. I only got Episode 1 I think there are more
I don't know, I'm not aware of their existance, I think the mod project ceased and there was only this "demo"
i kind of disappointed to this mod... it didn't actually have a "storyline", it was so short and all... the weapons are cool, but i never had time to use them, because this mod has not even been finished... the ending is weird, you just get to a "dreamworld" with an AI.

Really a damn shame about this mod...the weapons and general effort put into it were top notch. Oh well.
I like the weapons this mod offers, they are much better than the normal ones. Shame they didn't finish the mod, I really look forward to play a mission or 2 with the new weapons.
