The Call to Arms is a Battlefield 1942 mod that focuses mainly on the Canadian contribution to the Second World War. Many people know very little about the key roles that the Canadians played that eventually lead to the destruction of the axis forces. This mod will try to focus mainly on accuracy of the battles while keeping playability in mind. This might even be an educational tool to some who know little about the Canadian effort.

Though still in its infancy, The Call to Arms is moving very smoothly but attempting to make a mod with such accuracy will take time. When this mod is released, we hope you all learn a little about the Canucks.

One of the major Canadian contributions to the Allied war effort was the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. 1.1 million Canadians served in the army, navy, and air force.while over 16 million Americans served in the United States military. what a contribution. but they did have the second highest casualties at the battle of normandy in juno beach with 340 dead574 wounded. first the usa at omaha beach with 2,400 casualties.

Looks like 666jake666 needs a little history lesson. A typical comment coming from a dumb *** American. Canada was right beside the Americans and all allied forces in WW l and WW ll. Get your facts straight *******.

I really want to see the results of this mod. I love the Liberation of Caen map in Forgotton Hope, although most of the weapons and vehicles are British or American. Looking forward to some of the main battles our forces fought in!
