Why would you do that? and arent the supposed to be similar or cross compatable, so you could still work on it for Warband?
I hope no one was actually expecting a full release of this mod in any immediate future. A project of this scale, starting just now too, is going to take so long anyway that bannerlord will be either out or have a solid release date.
On the other hand this is a basically "on hold" for the mod the way I see it, you can't do much more that develop and collect art assets, which isn't bad, but you have basically also put on hold people's hype and interest.
Well, so it will come out next year or 2018...

Can't say I agree with this idea. Aside from the fact that the only "source" of this release date I've found is one guy on that reddit page you're linking claiming the owner has said 2016, but with such a lack of information,and the fact that Bannerlord's updates and blogs on their official site seem to come at the same pace as Kenshi's, I wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed.
I suggest making as much content as possible and then porting over. That will make things go a lot quicker.

DON'T DO THAT! That is an awfull idea, best case scenario you could do like the last days, work for a release in warband and then when bannerlord comes out port all of it to there.. Would be a lot better

I supported this mod, but now i agree it's not a great idea. Warband is still going strong, and will for at least 3-4 years.
Bannerlord won't come after a while.
I guess this mod will be forgotten in the next few months, i wonder who the hell was in this disucssion, a really bad idea has been done.

Bannerlord give us more stuff to mod.And we can make an trailer pretty easily with Battle Replay that they added.Also the Engine is extremely powerful and all of that.
And we are still thinking how to implement siege battles! :)
You moved to bannerlord and one of your main reasons to that is because its easier to do a trailer? I guess i speak for every1 f*** the trailer, i think you should do it to warband then when bannerlord comes out u implement the stuff u wanted and make a port to bannerlord that way would be better for everyone. Atleast thats what i think..

Sadly i disagree with you, you are right to have your opinion but honestly this decision will cost you a lot of people for example me, my pc wont run Bannerlord but even if for some reason my pc could run it i wouldn't buy the game because it will be expensive and im sure im not the only one who wont buy the game at 1st... Thats why i gave you the idea to do 1st to warband u could even face it as an experimental thing you know? But since you are so convinced its not worth it i can only say that it is a pitty. Although good luck with that im looking forward to see some gameplays in youtube :)
