Um.. well, but personally i don't think that War of the Ring mode it's up for a battle of alagaesia mod, was almost going to ask Ouranos to delete it (if possible) and then i forgot about it xD

About that bug (already know) have you noticed some detail? Possibly it's related with maps that use pre-designed fortresses (Carn Dum, Erebor etc..)

I've not understood well your proposal, do you mean having LOTR races fighting in battles against Alagesia's ones?
Could be fun but seems a bit far from being canon, i think...

I have finished the last book. I`m really surprised, 5 years ago I never thought that Eragon was going to be such a good story. I hope that Paolini writes another book related to alagaesia. I want to know more about Angela.
About your mod, I have only tested the Vardens and the Dwarves, against the empire. I don't know why but all buildings have a really high production rate.
About the Vardens, You must improve the Heros, especially the leadership skills. i.e Eragon should have a skill tree like Aragorns skill tree in BotTa (you have one power that when clicked it shows another menu, with leadership skills). Eragon should start with his bow and Zar'roc, lv2 he should unlock his horse, lv 3 unlock in a spell-submenu with waise heil and brisingr. At lv 4 it unlocks Shadowslayer (leadership skill) at a passive submenu, but also has a harmful skill (Durzan's scar in his back) that weakens Eragon, perhaps he can learn some other spells. at lv 7 he unlocks Dragon's gift (he becomes more elvish in clothes and appearence), lv 8 unlocks "Brisingr" (sword), lv 9 unlocks The Eldunaris and at lv 10 Perhaps could be the name of names or a spell similar to the one that uses against Galbatorix. When I have Internet I will tell you all mi ideas, By the moment im testing every faction in normal maps, then I will test them a few times in every fortress.

Happy you liked the series! ^^ He already confirmed that will write more about Alagaesia world: possibly stand-alone novels of less size, possibly some sequel AND prequel (he mentioned about one on Angela's past). All listened by his words when he visited north italy (Milan) and i got books signed too ^^

You have to remember that in books or movies, the heroes are often much more powerful than the villains. In the game, the different factions need to be balanced, otherwise heroes like galbatorix or eragon could defeat any ennemy thrown at them.
Ho<ever, the heroes currently in the mod where designed without inheritance and I am currently modifying themm to take the book into account.

Anyway the two only really powerful heroes should be Galbatorix and Eragon. Perhaps they could be like some sort of ringhero. Or atleast with Eragon, he could be summoned with a spell and he could be used with The Vardens, the elves, and the dwarves.
If tomorrow I still have Internet I will try to give more ideas.

But the key aspect of Eragon in the books it's his development: he start as a peasant and then turn into a hero ^^ making him an summounded hero could negate all this.
Speaking of Empire, i've think to about a possibility to show Galbatorix as a spell summounded hero or ability

you're right. what i thought was that the spell would allow the player to recruit Eragon with the Elves and the Dwarves too, as he is Orik's "clan-brother" .
Will Arya be recruitable at the Inn with the Vardens?, as she and Eragon fought together almost every important battle.

SHOULD be the ones with pre-designed fortress (Erebor, Carn Dum, etc...) but it's a bit weird because i think that sometimes it worked well..
